Tanir: Iron & Steam — Pre-Launch & Campaign

Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before signing up to the Tanir: Iron & Steam pre-launch mailing list or backing the crowdfunding campaign. By submitting your email address or pledging to the campaign, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not submit your details.
Tanir: Iron & Steam ("we", "us", "our") is an independent board game project currently in development. The crowdfunding campaign has not yet launched. References to "the campaign" mean the forthcoming crowdfunding campaign.

By submitting your email address on this website you are registering your interest in the Tanir: Iron & Steam crowdfunding campaign. You will receive a notification when the campaign goes live and, at our discretion, occasional project updates prior to launch.
We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. We will not send unsolicited commercial messages unrelated to this project.
You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly at hello@tanir-ironandsteam.com. Unsubscribing is immediate and free of charge.
The crowdfunding campaign will be hosted on a third-party crowdfunding platform. By pledging through that platform you also agree to its terms of use. We are not responsible for the platform's policies or operations.
A pledge is a commitment to provide funds if the campaign is successfully funded. It is not a purchase or a guarantee of delivery. Funds are collected only if the campaign meets its goal.
We will publish details of our funding goal, rewards, and any stretch goals on the campaign page at the time of launch. All such details are subject to change prior to the campaign going live. Pre-launch interest does not lock in any specific reward tier or price.
Any estimated delivery dates given during or after the campaign are good-faith estimates based on information available at the time. Board game production and fulfilment involve third parties and logistics outside our direct control. Delays may occur. We will communicate any significant changes to backers promptly and transparently.
Refund policy during an active campaign is governed by the crowdfunding platform's rules. Post-campaign refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed. If the campaign fails to fund, no pledges will be charged.
All content on this website — including but not limited to the game title, world-building, faction names, artwork, graphic design, copy, and logo — is the intellectual property of Tanir: Iron & Steam and is protected under applicable copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of our content without prior written permission.
Tanir: Iron & Steam is inspired by and built upon the Colorado Gold Train ruleset. All acknowledgements to the original creators are maintained in accordance with applicable agreements.
When you sign up to our mailing list, we collect your email address. We may also collect basic analytics data (such as page views and referral sources) via privacy-respecting analytics tools. We do not use tracking cookies that require consent under applicable law without first obtaining that consent.
Your email address is used solely to send you campaign launch notifications and, where you have not unsubscribed, project updates. We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Email addresses are stored with our email service provider. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access or disclosure.
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@tanir-ironandsteam.com.
You agree not to use this website or any communications channel associated with this project to transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove any such content and block users at our discretion.

Crowdfunding involves inherent risk. While we will make every reasonable effort to deliver rewards as described, we cannot guarantee delivery in the event of circumstances outside our control, including but not limited to manufacturer failures, natural disasters, or force majeure events.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tanir: Iron & Steam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or participation in the campaign. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount pledged by you to the campaign.
This website may contain links to third-party websites, including crowdfunding platforms. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content or practices of third-party websites and accept no responsibility for them.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Where changes are material, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website or mailing list after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the project is registered. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
